To the queston of the genesis of one location of stone tools in the Olenty-Shiderty interfluve

The author of the article raises the question of the votive origin of one of the locations of stone tools of the Eneolithic age of the North-eastern Saryarka in the interfluve of Olenty and Shiderty topographically located on the natural elevation of the surrounding historical and cultural landscape. Traditionally, the topography of Stone Age monuments is associated with the presence of water sources, convenient shelters or exits of raw stone rocks, the studied location stands out from this system both in its topography and raw materials for the production of stone tools. Indirectly, the votive function of this location is also evidenced by an extremely small component of finished tools with traces of use, which is recorded by the method of traceological analysis.
