FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

BACKGROUND
The 21st International Conference on the Methods of Aerophysical Research (ICMAR 2022) is to be held on August 8–14, 2022. ICMAR 2022 conference is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of ITAM SB RAS.


TOPICS of ICMAR 2022

  • METHODS OF FLOW DIAGNOSTICS
  • CFD METHODS AND CODES: PROBLEMS OF MODELING AND VERIFICATION

Since 2010, the traditional ICMAR research program was supplemented with a section of interdisciplinary problems, which deals with the use of Aerophysical Research Methods in medicine, biology, chemistry, ecology, and other fields.
 

 

 

SECTIONS of ICMAR 2022:

1. Wind Tunnels and Gas-Dynamic Facilities, Methods of Flow Diagnostics;
2. Stability, Turbulence and Separation;
3. Gas Dynamics of Internal and External Flows;
4. Methods of Aerophysical Research in Interdisciplinary Problems;
5. Training Methods of Fluid Mechanics Teaching

In parallel with the conference, a mini-symposium and round tables will be organized to discuss implementation of aerophysical research achievements in industrial engineering. Topics of these activities will be specified in the next announcement.

CALL for ABSTRACTS

To participate in the conference please register until March 10, 2022 on the conference website. The abstract in English (up to two pages including figures, references, etc.) should be submitted through the conference website or sent via e-mail until April 5, 2022 to the address icmar@itam.nsc.ru or via the conference website.
Instructions and a sample of the abstract can be found on the conference website http://conf.nsc.ru/icmar2022

Plenary (up to 30 min), section (up to 20 min), and short presentations (up to 10 min) are planned. Sufficient time will be allocated for discussions and for poster presentations. A book of abstracts in English will be published before the conference.

LANGUAGES

Official languages of the Conference are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
