In October 7-11, 2013 the XXI Russian conference “X-ray and Electronic Spectra and Chemical Bonding” (RESCB-21) will be orginized in Novosibirsk, Russia by Nikolaev Institute of Inorganic Chemistry SB RAS in cooperation with Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS and Novosibirsk State University.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites the researches working in the field of X-ray and electronic spectroscopy and related methods to take part in the RESCB-21 conference.

"X-ray and Electronic Spectra and Chemical Bonding" (RESCB-21)

The regular conference on “X-ray and Electronic Spectra and Chemical Bonding” is the main Russian conference for the presentation of new research results in the field of X-ray and electronic spectroscopy (XPS, AES, NEXAFS, EXAFS, XES) and related methods for study of new chemical compaunds and promising materials.The previous two RESCB conferences were held at Izhevsk Physical-Technical Institute UB RAS (2007) and Novosibirsk Research Center (2010).
Main scientific directions of the conference:
- Photoelectron spectroscopy and electronic Auger spectrosocpy.
- X-ray spectroscopy: emission and absorption (NEXAFS, XANES)
- EXAFS spectroscopy
- Photoelectron diffraction
- New theoretical methods for electronic structure simulation
- Application of XPS for surface inverstigation
- Application of XPS and X-ray spectroscopy in catalysis, semiconduction and nanpartivle investigation
