Various aspects of solving multi-criteria discrete optimization problems are considered. The advantages of the equivalence set method for solving problems of this kind in comparison with other methods are shown. Theorems are formulated and proved, showing the relation of the Pareto-optimal solution set and solutions from the equivalence set.
