Numerical identification of coefficients in a mathematical model of water ecosystem

A mathematical model of water ecosystem is being considered. This model is a modification of the model examined before. The modification is created by segregation of the concentration of green algae as an independent dynamical variable. Taken into account are either only convection, or only diffusion, or both. In the last case we have a system of ten partial differential equations of parabolic type. Initial and boundary conditions are assumed to be given. Some coefficients of the mathematical model are identified by solving inverse problems. The conditions for redefinition are set. The redefinition conditions can be specified both on a continuous basis and discretely for a certain set of values of independent variables. The algorithms for the numerical solution of inverse problems are proposed. Computational experiments are performed. The calculations allow making a suggestion about the convergence of numerical solutions to precise ones.
