FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
 

The 22nd International Conference on Methods of Aerophysical Research (ICMAR 2024) is to be held on July 1 – July 5, 2024. The Conference is devoted to the 110th anniversary of academician V.V. Struminsky, who led ITAM SB RAS since 1966 till 1971.

TOPICS OF ICMAR 2024

• Physical and mathematical modeling and computational methods of aerodynamics;
• Diagnostic methods in aerophysical research;
• Methods of aerophysical research in interdisciplinary problems

WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THESE SCIENTIFIC DIRECTIONS THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS WILL BE ORGANIZED:

• Physical modeling and mathematical simulationof aerogasodynamics of internal and external flows;
• Wind tunnels, gas-dynamic facilities and methods of flow diagnostics;
• Hydrodynamic stability, turbulence and flow separation;
• Methods of aerophysical research in interdisciplinary problems.

Within the focus of the main directions, as well as mini-symposia and round tables, it is planned to consider the issues of interdisciplinary problems in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, tasks for medicine, biology and ecology and other fields of knowledge. The topics of these events will be specified in the following information messages.

Plenary (up to 40 min), section (up to 20 min), and poster presentations are planned. Time will be allotted for discussions and for poster presentations.
Conference languages are Russian and English. A collection of abstracts in English will be published prior to the conference.

The abstract in English (no more than two pages including figures, references, etc.) should be submitted at the conference website or sent via conference e-mail.

Instructions and a sample of the abstract can be found on the conference website.
