Ratio of Weibull random variable and α-µ random variable

Weibull random process and α-µ random process are evaluated. Weibull distribution can module signal envelope in non linear multipath fading channel with one cluster and α-µ distribution can module co-channel interference envelope in non linear short fading channel with two or more clusters. Probability density function expression can be used for evaluation of symbol error probability of wireless system, the expression for cumulative distribution function can be used for evaluation of outage probability and the expression for average level crossing rate can be used for calculation average fade duration of wireless system. The influence of Weibull shaping parameter and α-µ shaping parameter on average level crossing rate are analysed and discussed.
